The Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023 comes into force in October 2024 and introduces a duty on all employers to take reasonable steps to prevent the sexual harassment of their employees in the course of their employment, and will give employment tribunals power to uplift compensation by up to 25 per cent if an employer fails to do so.
